Part 1 — Export from InvestEngine

1

Log in at investengine.com

Go to your InvestEngine dashboard. Make sure you are viewing your portfolio (ISA or GIA).

2

Go to Transactions

Click "Transactions" in the top navigation or left sidebar. This shows all your past buy and sell activity.

3

Click "Export" or "Download CSV"

Look for the Export button in the top-right corner of the Transactions view. Select the full date range (from account open date to today) to capture all activity.

4

Save the CSV file

The file downloads immediately. It typically contains columns: Date, Type, Instrument, ISIN, Ticker, Units, Price, Total.

Which CSV columns does Zeenox use?

ColumnUsed for
Ticker / InstrumentETF ticker — e.g. ISWD, WPEA, HLAL
ISINFallback identifier if ticker is missing
UnitsNumber of ETF units held
PriceOptional — used for purification calculation

Common halal ETFs available on InvestEngine

Halal

ISWD — iShares MSCI World Islamic UCITS ETF

Tracks MSCI World Islamic Index — pre-screened to exclude financial and haram sectors.

Borderline

WPEA — Amundi MSCI World SRI PAB UCITS ETF

SRI filter removes some haram sectors but is not a full Shariah screen. Check individual holdings.

Halal

HLAL — Wahed FTSE USA Shariah ETF

Shariah-screened US stocks ETF. Available on some UK platforms.

Always verify ETF compliance via Zeenox before investing — fund compositions change over time.

Part 2 — Import into Zeenox

1

Go to your Zeenox portfolio

Log in and open (or create) a portfolio from the Dashboard.

2

Click "Import Holdings" → CSV upload

Select "CSV upload" and upload your InvestEngine file. Zeenox reads the Ticker/ISIN and Units columns automatically.

3

Review compliance screening

Each ETF is screened for Shariah compliance. Halal ETFs (e.g. iShares MSCI World Islamic) are shown in green; mixed-sector ETFs that include financial or haram stocks are flagged for review.

4

Confirm and save

Click "Add Holdings" to save. Your portfolio will display live compliance data, Zakat estimates, and purification amounts.
