Import Portfolio Now

Part 1 — Export from Freetrade

1

Open the Freetrade app

Tap your profile picture or the hamburger icon in the top-left corner of the home screen.

2

Go to Account → Privacy

Scroll down to the "Privacy" section and tap "Request my data". Freetrade will email you a CSV of all your transactions and current holdings.

3

Check your inbox

The email usually arrives within a few minutes. Download the CSV attachment — look for the file named something like "freetrade-account-data.csv".

4

Find your holdings rows

Open the CSV in Excel or Google Sheets. Filter for "Type = Buy" rows or look for the "Portfolio" tab if Freetrade sends multiple sheets. The columns you need are: Title (or Ticker), Shares.

Note:Freetrade's data export shows all transactions, not just current holdings. You only need the rows where you still hold shares. If you have sold a position, exclude it — Zeenox screens current holdings only.

Which CSV columns does Zeenox use?

ColumnUsed for
Ticker / SymbolIdentifies the stock — e.g. AAPL, ULVR.L
Shares / QuantityNumber of shares held
Price per ShareOptional — used for purification calculation

Zeenox auto-detects these columns. You don't need to rename or reformat the Freetrade CSV before uploading.

Part 2 — Import into Zeenox

1

Go to your Zeenox portfolio

Log in and open (or create) a portfolio from the Dashboard.

2

Click "Import Holdings"

Hit the Import button and select "CSV upload". You can paste ticker symbols directly or upload the Freetrade CSV — Zeenox detects the column headers automatically.

3

Review the compliance preview

Zeenox screens every ticker against AAOIFI Standard No. 21 before you confirm. Halal stocks are shown in green; any non-compliant positions are flagged in red.

4

Confirm and save

Click "Add Holdings" to save compliant positions. Your portfolio now shows live compliance scores, Zakat estimates, and purification amounts.
